Physical Education Packets are a valuable tool for your physical education department. Packets are updated every six months to include the most recent and current events for each sport. The Elementary PE Substitute Packet Program consists of 42 lessons for use with Physical Education classes in grades Kindergarten through Six. Included are 21 Lesson Plans for the new or limited experienced substitute, 11 Lessons for the sub with some PE experience, 5 lessons for the experienced PE sub and 5 additional lessons for use in "Limited Space" areas when your PE classes cannot use the gym or go outside. Also included are a variety of suggestions and forms to help make the substitute experience with PE classes successful and meaningful.
Each of these notebooks consists of twenty articles taken from popular newspapers. They are timely, interesting, readable and informative. Each article is 2-4 pages long and is accompanied by additional pages of questions and puzzles for students to demonstrate what they have learned. Complete answers are provided in a teacher section. An additional Health notebook dealing with the more controversial subjects of drugs, alcohol, smoking and sexual relations is also available.
The Nutrition and Wellness Program
Each of these sets of packets consists of articles taken from popular newspapers which focus on the important findings, studies and reports regarding nutrition. The Wellness and Health Tips packets are designed to be of interest to teens and provide realistic examples of ways to improve their daily lives.
